Amazing food, attentive service. Good for a romantic dinner as well as for a fancy family night out, or for friends getting together. Fun downtown Livermore location with superior and extensive wine selections and a helpful sommelier for those serious about pairing their wine and food for an optimal dining experience. As for me, I love wine and all the food is so good, I feel it's impossible to go wrong! And just for good measure, they also have quite a tempting cocktail menu...Uncle Yu's is one of the very best choices for an evening out in Livermore.
We were a party of 12, and ordered from the 'Prix Fixe' menu. Our selections came out great! Everyone was satisfied! We even had leftovers and took our desserts to go. Even the coffee was great!
Very nice higher end restaurant. Dinning inside looked fancy and higher end. Outside patio was cool and a more relaxed atmosphere. Food was GOOD. Fancy Asian food and enough to share all around. The old fashioned drink was also really good. Not cheap but worth the cost.
My favorite Chinese food restaurant. They also have an extensive wine selection. Not cheap but worth the extra cost. Portions are very big. We'll be back for sure.
Lovely meal and atmosphere. I had lunch with friends, the lunch special was great; hot and sour soup, with the spicy prawns as the main dish Definitely great value
It's a bit pricey for Chinese food. Nonetheless the food was good. I really liked their calamari, it was lightly crisped and right amount of seasoning. Definitely get their lychee margarita, that was super yummy
This restaurant had been on my to-do list for some time, so I was glad to finally try it out. The inside of the restaurant is very pretty and feels upscale. The food was very good and just what we needed after wine tasting.
This is one of the top Chinese restaurants that I have eaten at. This restaurant has been at this location for at least 20 years that I recall their Peking duck which is tea smoked, never disappoint. They have one of the best walnut prawns in the Bay area. the service is excellent and their wine in liquor bar is exceptional. The interior decoration is very tasteful.
